Description

The Serrano Fire Safe Council is a community-driven, independent, grassroots organization managed by a board of directors. We provide updates, information, and assistance to homeowners who harden their homes, maintain defensible space, receive insurance renewal conditions, and want to qualify for insurance discounts.

The El Dorado County Fire Safe Council is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit. As an Associate Council, we share this tax-exempt status and can apply for grant funds to support community-wide mitigation projects.

We seek Serrano residents who can help with newsletters and email updates, workshops and town halls, grant applications, defensible space assessments, and fundraising.
